Founded in 1969
Electroweave is a woman-owned manufacturing company that was founded during the era of “rack and panel” connectors.
Our initial charter was to offer customers the finest, most reliable interconnecting woven cable available in the industry. Today we continue to succeed in this goal.
We specialize in the manufacture of woven cables utilizing custom insulation systems. Offering complete research and design engineering services, our production versatility allows electro-optical, mechanical and pneumatic components to be coupled with many insulation types, including:
- PVC
- Teflon®
- Tefzel®
- Halar®
- Kapton® polyethylene
- Silicone rubbers
- Nylon
Typically, our products are used in computer and peripheral equipment, in the consumer markets, military applications, electronic banking, point of sale, test and measurement, medical/analytical equipment and local area networks. Our woven cables are manufactured in accordance with UL/CSA, military and applicable customer specifications.
Inherent in the design of Electroweave’s woven cables are features including flexible flat profiles and controlled geometric design. Precisely engineered, woven cable offer increased flex life as binding threads slide over cable components.
In addition, our woven cable may be designed to include a complete variety of component types and sizes. Products may also be manufactured in multiple layers, with fold and strip lines and with special weaves custom designed for particular needs.
