If you decide to move with Rhino Relocation, a relocation specialist will be assigned to you. This person will help you select moving services (if needed) and answer any questions you may have throughout the entire process.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_tta_section][vc_tta_section title=” How does Rhino Relocation calculate pricing for interstate moves?” tab_id=”1505980356909-25f013a2-4194″][vc_column_text]For interstate moves, Rhino Relocation charges a fixed rate per cubic foot of volume on the truck. The rate differs for each move based on the distance to your destination and its proximity to major transportation routes.<\/p>\n

Please note that Rhino Relocation’s interstate pricing is usually based on volume, not weight. *We do offer Non-Binding Estimates based on weight if requested.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_tta_section][vc_tta_section title=” How Can I pack my own belongings?” tab_id=”1505980357000-314a0cb5-fe5f”][vc_column_text]Certainly, can pack your own items and save money, if you wish. However, Rhino Relocation, cannot be responsible for items you pack yourself. If you decide to pack your own belongings, take a look at our Packing Tips section for a short guide on packing.<\/p>\n

Your relocation specialist can also supply you with all the items you’ll need to do your own packing. And remember, for just pennies per pound, you can have our trained moving crew pack your belongings.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_tta_section][vc_tta_section title=” How can I protect particularly fragile items?” tab_id=”1505981610698-97527eb3-f568″][vc_column_text]On the day of your move, please inform your relocation foreman regarding any item you are particularly concerned about.<\/p>\n

Your foreman can advise you on how best to protect the item during the move, and will take all possible steps to do so. All of our foremen are professional movers who have been doing this for a long time and have experience protecting fragile or valuable belongings from harm.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_tta_section][vc_tta_section title=” Are there any items that cannot be moved?” tab_id=”1505981646881-1f3b5757-1f9e”][vc_column_text]Yes, there are several items that cannot be moved in our vans for safety reasons. Items such as: Aerosols, Flammables, Cleaning Agents, Combustibles, Perishables, Plants, Ammunition, Paints, Cars, Animals, Motorcycles, Propane Tanks.<\/p>\n

There are also many items which cannot be moved for the customer’s protection. These are items you should plan to take with you because they cannot be claimed as lost or damaged. They fall in the following categories: Jewelry, Coin or Stamp Collections, Stock Certificates, Rare Items, Currency, Important Documents.<\/p>\n

Your relocation consultant can provide you with a more comprehensive list. Always remember to take with you items you will need such as airline tickets, papers for school enrollment, home closings etc. We suggest you set aside a special carton for these items and mark it “Do Not Load”.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_tta_section][vc_tta_section title=” Should I be present during the loading of my furniture?” tab_id=”1505981688614-54380b40-48a9″][vc_column_text]Yes, we highly encourage for each customer to oversee the loading of your belongings and should not leave during the loading process. Examine the mover’s description of your belongings on the inventory list and initial for any chipped or marred items.<\/p>\n

Always conduct an inventory of your goods against the mover’s list and make certain that all the furniture and boxes that you are taking are on the list.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_tta_section][vc_tta_section title=” Is storage included in my move?” tab_id=”1505981716014-045dee32-6f69″][vc_column_text]Every move includes one month of free storage. If you won\u2019t be able to receive your belongings for several weeks, don\u2019t worry about it \u2013 we\u2019ll keep them safe in our warehouse until you\u2019re ready for delivery.<\/p>\n

Your sales representative can fully explain the total range of services available, including: crating, packing, unpacking, appliance services, elevator, stair and long carries, or shuttle service if access to your residence is limited and a second, smaller truck is necessary.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_tta_section][vc_tta_section title=” What are inventory exceptions?” tab_id=”1505981805184-96f6e1d9-4869″][vc_column_text]For your protection, when your household goods are delivered to your new home, your van operator will ask you to check off items as they are removed from the van and sign the inventory of household goods.<\/p>\n

If any items or cartons are missing or damaged, you must note this on the inventory sheet at the time of delivery.
