Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern all website development projects between Adil Farooq (the Developer) and you (the Client). By engaging my services, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.

Scope of Work

I will provide WordPress development services as described in the project scope document we agree upon. Any changes or additional features outside the original scope will be treated as change requests and may require extra time and cost.

Payment Terms

  • A deposit (usually 30–40%) is required before work begins.
  • Remaining payments are due at agreed milestones.
  • Final payment is required before site launch and handover.
  • Late payments may delay the project and incur a 1.5% monthly late fee.
  • I retain ownership of the work until full payment is received.

Revisions & Approval

Each package includes a specific number of revision rounds. Additional revisions may be billed at an hourly rate. You must provide feedback within the agreed time so the project stays on schedule.

Intellectual Property

Upon full and final payment, I assign all rights to the custom code, design, and deliverables created specifically for your project to you. I retain the right to display the project in my portfolio (unless you request otherwise in writing). I keep rights to any pre-existing tools, plugins, or code libraries I use.

Timeline & Delays

I will provide a realistic timeline based on the scope. Delays caused by late feedback, missing content, or third-party services are outside my control and may extend the timeline.

Refund & Cancellation

If I fail to deliver the agreed scope by the deadline (without client-caused delays), you may request a partial refund of the unused portion. Once a milestone is approved and paid, that portion is non-refundable. Cancellations after work has started may result in forfeiture of the deposit to cover time already invested.

Support & Maintenance

Post-launch support is included as per the package (14–60 days). After that, I offer optional monthly maintenance retainers. I am not responsible for issues caused by third-party plugins, hosting changes, or client modifications.

Liability

My liability is limited to the total amount paid for the project. I am not liable for any indirect or consequential damages.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan. Any disputes will first attempt friendly resolution before formal proceedings.

Changes to Terms

I may update these terms occasionally. Continued use of my services after changes means you accept the new terms.
